Decision By Shrutee

“Decision”

In the world of crucial humans
Long stood confused;
In the gracious forest,
The shining rays of sunshine
Outburst it from the greenery;
The fine dewdrops fell
To the ivy creepers.

Just like the still bamboo,
There was I with:
The wind blowing hard,
The rain pouring irresolutely,
And hundred of uncertainties in my mind.
Scattered like maple leaves
In the auspicious autumn!

Had to take a definite decision ;
The destination was straight
Had to take a break,
The mind behind me in-fluctuated
Sat straight, thought straight;
Took the decision and now
Gonna keep it straight!

Blurb: Not every story has a happy ending,but is a perfect ending all that matters?Armaan is a young television writer and seems to have it all – a dream job, ample money and a good place to live in Mumbai. Despite all that, his heart lies somewhere in his hometown Indore. Merry and beaming through all of life’s ups and downs, Sara is a little desolate and now needs a different space to rethink her life as she joins a leading television channel in Mumbai.Armaan and Sara meet in FILMY style and quite obviously then, cannot help but fall in love. The passionate new romance in his life throws everything else aside, but little does he know that there’s a storm headed their way. Walking together, they stumble upon long-buried truths, shocking new twists and tough decisions. Be My Perfect Ending is a story of love that knows no bounds, of endings that are far from ordinary and new beginnings that hold a promise of LOVE.

Review: This is the fourth book of Arpit and the first book for me which I have read.and I'm much impressed with the work of Arpit, he had packed all the things which make this book more interesting.Let's talk about the cover first, a book should not judge on the basis of its cover but the cover of this book is damn attractive. If I talk about the content of this book then in this book you will read the story of Armaan a writer who writes for one television show and living in Mumbai his flatmate was much of a party person and totally opposite from Armaan. But when Sandy needed emotional support, Armaan was always there to helped him, thus making the bond stronger with time., and the situation of the first meeting with Sara a new supervising producer.  Sara had rejected entire script of one episode which was written by the Armaan and suggested him to rewrite the entire episode as Script wasn't up to the mark as per Sara's point of view.Armaan could not do anything else he had to rewrite the entire episode.Armaan was much curious about the first meeting with the new Supervising Producer who rejected his Script.Somehow story runs with a flow and at one point Armaan and Sara became friends and then the love story gets started,  Armaan and Sara meet in FILMY style and quite obviously then, cannot help but fall in love. The passionate new romance in his life throws everything else aside, but little does he know that there’s a storm headed their way, Sara a beautiful girl who lost her parents and Armaan who is living far away from his mother but whenever he feels low he calls his mother to feel good.but then after sometime one thing happens between Armaan & Sara to know what? you must read this beautiful book by Arpit Vageria.without revealing much from this book I'm ending my review here but I must say one this about this book, a page-turner book for me and I'm damn sure for all readers too.

But still their conversation continued.
He told her about his college life while she talked about her friends.
One day, he surprised her by dropping to her place and professing his love.
What will Avani do now?

Review: This is the second book by Devayu and the first book by Devayu I picked for reading, one of my close friends suggested me to read this wonderful novel which refreshed your college memories.
We all had a great fun in colleges no doubt that’s the biggest reason I easily related to the story of the book and Devayu the author of the book has done the great work by introducing this story to us.
But honestly speaking the cover of the book could have been more attractive but as we know never judge the book by its cover same statement applies for this book, outer beauty doesn’t matter for a reader, when the inner beauty of the book is marvelous.
The story of the book keeps you engaging from the start & until the end. The story starts with Neil the protagonist of the story and his two friends Chinu and Baba, and the college. Whenever we heard the word college we can easily remember those boring lectures same things happen with Neil, Chinu, and Baba. And on another side of this book, one love story gets started Neil met Avani for the first time in goa with a dramatic situation and Neil fell in love with Avani. But he was not sure about the Avani’s feeling and there you know when your friends got to know that you like someone they started helping you to get the person in your life even when you don’t want the help they do in a different way, same happen with Neil his friend forced him to send a friend request to Avani and start their story soon. They connected on facebook. But Avani had a sad past and the reason why she afraid of being in a relationship again. Will Neil get his love back? Would Avani accept Neil's Love again?
To find the answers to above questions you have to read this amazing Novel.
The Mixture of Hind + English = Hinglish is just amazing.
I personally like the Line said by the Doctor “ Life is not a video game where you get numerous chances. You have only one chance to live. Learn to value your life. Don’t throw it away like an idiot.”

Letters In the Rain by Anubhav Shrivastava & Ananya Roy

Title: Letters In the Rain

Authors: Anubhav Shrivastava
Ananya Roy

Publisher: Rumour Books India

Blurb: Quite early in his life, Aman had been labelled a 'weirdo'. His side-parted, oil soaked hair and gawky physique made him the butt of jokes among his peers. There is nothing spectacular in his life—he studies all day, has never had an interaction with a girl that lasted more than five minutes, and scribbles his inner musings into his best friend, a personal diary.
Deep down, however, the guilt of being considered a social killjoy by the society starts to have a negative impact on him. When forced out of his solitary shell into the action-infused warehouse that is 'college', Aman's life takes a drastic U-Turn. Owing to a Chemistry project, he is forced to partner up with Kiara—a cheerful, carefree soul who tucks away her dark, brooding past upon arriving in Manipal. What follows is a series of awkward encounters and quirky adventures; ones that throw them in the deep end and make them face their worst fears.

Review: “Letters In The Rain” is the second book by Anubhav, his first book “One Last Time” Was just an amazing I really liked his writing style. And this time also I can say he managed to stay at his mark and again impressed me by his tale.for me this is the first book by Ananya Roy and I’m impressed with her too.
The book is quite small in size but the story which is present in the book was just amazing. I must say that the book cover looks great.
The story starts with the boy called Aman a topper, Aman doesn’t like to interact with other people around him and his Parent's also worried about his behavior against other people around him. When he joined the college he never changed anything in his behavior neither his Personality and then He meets Kiara Mehta there. She is a hazel-eyed girl who needs only good food and good music to be happy. Her happy exterior conceals a dark past. And with the entry of Kiara into the Aman’s life and things start to change. Authors had shown the perfect college life in this book.
I really enjoyed the book, I bet you won’t be bored while reading this book and yes I personally recommend you to read Anubhav’s first book “One Last Time”.

Review: As mentioned in the blurb 8 incidents are present in this book which are connected to each other, and that's why the title of the book is "8 The Game Is On".
The story started with the death of a one of the famous film director Akash Gupta. and Jay with his police team Reposted to the crime scene and there a new and Lead character Neel was introduced by the Author. Neel was a Police Officer who left the police department by giving a resignation letter to his Senior officer. There was a personal reason behind this. Neel and Jay were a friend and colleagues too. Neel and His wife Avantika who were a police officer too, both were separated just because of one misunderstanding which was occurred while Nell was on a mission of Police department. Raghu the head of them had assigned the Mission to Neel and Jay by letting down the current mission of Akash Gupta. A mission of the Robbery of the 8 Artefacts from the Ship which is related to Vasco Da Gama... and after some time Raghu called them Back for the Akash Gupta case and one more officer joined them, Who was Avantika Neel's Wife. and at some points author had tried to show a love story of Neel and Avantika.
The Story runs with all Incidents which is mentioned in the Blurb. at some stages, it looks like the author had just jumped to another scene.
Will they get succeed to there mission?
will Neel and Avantika will give another chance to there Relationship?
for all the answer you have to read this book.

SYNOPSIS: Set in 1303 AD medieval India, Padmaavat is the story of honour, valour and obsession. Queen Padmavati is known for her exceptional beauty along with a strong sense of justice and is the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh and pride of the Kingdom of Chittor, a prosperous kingdom in the north west of India.
The legend of her beauty reaches the reigning sultan of Hindustan-Allaudin Khilji. The sultan who is a tyrant, is fixated with wanting anything that is of exceptional beauty for himself. He lays siege on the impregnable fortress of Chittorgarh.
After a gruelling 6 months, he returns empty handed. He becomes obsessed and now wants to capture Chittor and its Queen at any cost. He returns with a bigger army and raging fury. He attacks Chittor with brutal force and a bloody and fearsome battle takes place between the righteous Maharawal Ratan Singh defending his kingdom and the honour of his Queen and Sultan Allaudin Khilji. Khilji manages to breach the fortress but it goes in vain as the Queen chooses to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect her dignity.

Review :
Introduction: What can I say about this movie, whatever I would say will be less to the effort that Director Bhansali has put into this? There were lots of outrage against the movie, many wanted to kill or hang the Director and the actors of the movie, but after watching it I salute Bhansali who has beautifully directed the movie. The movie celebrates the pride of Chittor Rajpoot and Rajpootana, the movie also celebrates the pride of Chittor women.

Story: The story of the movie is more or less already in the public domain. You can easily google and find out about Queen Padmavati. But let me tell you what is there in the movie.
Alauddin Khilji (Ranvir Singh) becomes the Sultan of Khilji dynasty by killing his uncle Jalaluddin Khilji( played by Raja Murad), one day Alauddin comes to know that there is one of the most beautiful women in Chittor called Padmavati. Upon hearing this he started dreaming about Padamavati and wanted to make her his queen. Will he succeed in his dream or not for that you will have to watch the movie.

Acting: Deepika Padukone in the role of Queen Padmavati has done a superb job. She has completely come out as Queen Padmavati.
Ranveer Singh in the role of Alauddin Khilji has done a brilliant job, acting-wise this is again an award-winning performance by him.  This is one of the most negative character played by an actor on the screen. Don’t know why he chose this role. Does he choose challenge over goodness?
Shahid Kapoor as King Ratan Singh has impressed me a lot, he has not only done the complete justice to the character but has taken the applaud from the audience as well. In the time to come, this movie will be remembered for Shahid Kapoor’s brilliant work.

Direction: The movie is Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. His first movie was Khamoshi in the year 1996, it’s been almost 25 years and in the last 25 years many directors came and disappeared due to lack of understanding of cinema or lack of filmmaking skill and in some cases both, but Bhansali is different from those, he is the one who does not only know about cinema but he has the best filmmaking skill as well. By heart, he is a musician and that is an add-on to his filmmaking skill.

Final Verdict: The movie will be remembered as one of finest work by an Indian filmmaker.
4.5 Star. A must watch.

Review - Imperfect Misfits By Devanshi Sharma

Title: Imperfect Misfits

Author: Devanshi Sharma

Publisher: Srishti Publishers & Distributors

Pages: 208

Blurb: Tiasha: I am very annoyed.
Aakaash: That’s your job, Tiasha. Good that you are doing it well.Tiasha: And I am very serious.Aakaash: When are you not!Tiasha: Argh! I hate you, Aakaash. Aakaash: Thank God for small mercies! Just like a scoop of vanilla ice cream makes the sizzling chocolate brownie delicious, these best friends complimented each other. A chef by passion, Tiasha jumps and waves through her professional choices, while Aakaash, the witty stand-up comedian, knows exactly what he wants.He was the tranquility which refugees crave to stay in and she was the refugee, who wanted to wander and explore.
Imperfect Misfits is a story of perfect misfits, food, frolic, emotions and their endless imperfections.The question is, will their friendship survive through this wavy journey of love?

Review: Imperfect Misfits” is a story of two best buddies Tiasha and Aakaash. They have a unique connection between them and they both are very curious about each other which is the unique part of their friendship.
Tiasha a chef by passion who love to cook for friends and for Aakaash especially. and Aakaash a Stand-Up comedian by passion who love to make people laugh with the help of his joke. But while traveling to this journey Tiasha got confused between Passion and Profession. She got selected for a Training season by a top Advertising company and Aakaash also got selected for the same but Aakaash focused on Passion and Tiasha opted to follow her profession and she decided to go for a Training just to experience the something new from it which can help her for her restaurant. Aakaash were getting certain fame just because of his talent of stand up and his videos are getting viral on the internet.
Tiasha’s parents were very supportive to Tiasha and never forced her to do anything she is free to take her decision, and in the case of Aakaash his family was little different from Tiasha’s Family his father always forced him to get a Job but his Grandpa was supportive to him. They are best friends no doubt but somewhere they are in love Will they confess their love? Will Tiasha get what she wants from life?
To Know the answer to this question-You have to read this wonderful book by Young Author Devanshi Sharma
